Upcoming 22-Inch Trojan Horse Toy "Sunny's Playset Reveal" Found On Hasbro's Website

Last month, Hasbro quietly listed "Sunny's Playset Reveal" on their website. This toy's centerpiece is a boxy-looking 22-inch-tall Sunny Starscout in her alicorn form. Her body unfolds to become the interior of the Crystal Brighthouse, with a light-up Unity Crystal in the lantern room.

The instruction manual indicates that the 22-inch Sunny comprises 15 interlocking plastic parts and 20 stickers, which are to be assembled by an adult. The set also includes a regular 3-inch articulated Sunny in her earth pony form, 30 plastic accessories, and 8 stickers for the accessories.

It is not known when the toy will become available for purchase. The listing says the toy is to cost US$99.99.

New Toy Set "My Little Pony Dragon Light Reveal" Features Blaize Skysong the Dragon

Adult dragons have pony hind legs now for some reason, and as it turns out, so do the toys of the dragons.

The new toy set "My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale Dragon Light Reveal" features Sunny Starscout, Sparky Sparkeroni, and the dragon Blaize Skysong (who has appeared in a recent Tell Your Tale episode). It is currently listed on Amazon's European sites and on the German version of Hasbro's website. According to Amazon, the product costs £16.99 or €19.99, so the US price will probably be $19.99. It can already be ordered, but Amazon UK says it won't start being delivered until mid-November.

New "My Little Pony Celebration Tails" Toy Set Featuring Ridiculously Long Tails Found

A new "Celebration Tails" MLP toy set has been found in a store in Chile. It's new enough that it hasn't been listed online anywhere yet.

According to the box art, "My Little Pony Celebration Tails" features five 3-inch ponies with "extra-long tails": Zipp, Pipp, Izzy, Sunny and Misty. They have solid molded manes and articulated joints.

Possibly because of the unusually long tails, the box features an opaque flap that completely encloses the usual cut-out window. You're supposed to be able to lift it up (if it isn't taped shut), but photos of it don't reveal much that isn't already visible on the exterior.

New "My Little Pony: Make Your Mark Collection" Toy Set Found At Toys "R" Us In Canada

The new toy set "Make Your Mark Collection" features five brushable 3-inch ponies: Sunny Starscout, Misty, Jazz Hooves, Pipp Petals and Queen Haven. It appears to be so new that it isn't listed anywhere online yet.

This was found today in a Toys "R" Us in Vancouver, Canada, by jorj/benjamin_li, who shared these six photos in the G5 MLP Discord server and gave me permission to reuse the photos with credit.

New "Misty Brightdawn Cutie Mark Magic" & "Rainbow Celebration" Pony Figures Available On Amazon US

There are two new things from Hasbro today that are now available from Amazon US. The first is the "Misty Brightdawn Cutie Mark Magic" set, featuring a 3-inch articulated Misty figure, and some tiny little plastic accessories. The listed price is US$8.99.

The other one, "Rainbow Celebration", was actually revealed two weeks ago, but the description is new. The US price is US$64.99, which is about 25% less than the UK price.

On the Amazon UK website, images have been added to a pre-release listing for a "My Little Pony RAINBOW CELEBRATION" toy set, revealing its contents: the brushable ponies included are Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie from G4, Sunny Starscout and Izzy Moonbow from G5, and Minty from G3. The ponies all use G5-style molds and are probably about 6 inches tall.

"Zipp Storm Style Of The Day" Toy Listing Reveals Theme of Upcoming Make Your Mark Special

A listing for the new "Zipp Storm Style of the Day" toy has appeared on Amazon US. The toy isn't stocked yet but it can be pre-ordered for US$19.99.

Misty and Pipp are also going to be part of the "Style of the Day" series, but they haven't been listed on Amazon yet.

The product description says that the toy was "inspired by the My Little Pony: Make Your Mark Bridlewoodstock special where the ponies throw a magical music festival". There are going to be two more 44-minute special episodes in the initial 27-episode run of My Little Pony: Make Your Mark, so the Bridlewoodstock special will be either the 3rd or 4th one. Maybe it'll be the 3rd special? I think it'd make more sense for the 4th special to be a resolution to Opaline and Misty's current arc, although that could also involve a music festival somehow.

New G5 Toys Featuring Misty(!), Zipp and Pipp Revealed Online

Misty Brightdawn is finally getting her own toy! The new "Style of the Day" series also includes Zipp and Pipp. We don't have a release date yet.

The new Misty toy features her with what might be a real cutie mark, and all three ponies have flowers imprinted on their faces. They come with various small plastic accessories, as well as patterned mane extensions.

These toys were revealed on the Vietnamese website Săn Hàng Rẻ, which also published a video of the toys in their packaging. Their photos and video are reproduced below.

UNBOXING REVIEW: Mighty Jaxx My Little Pony Hidden Dissectibles

 

Hello everyone! It's been a little while since Equestria Daily has done one of these unboxing reviews.

Personally I blame the entirety of last year for slowing down on product releases/reviews, so it is to be expected.

But the good news is that they are back with avengeance!

So what is in this box that I am reviewing today?

Well it just so happens that Mighty Jaxx sent Equestria Daily a case of 12 My Little Pony Hidden Dissectibles to take a look at.

Please be advised this box was provided for free for review purposes.  As per Mighty Jaxx's webpage, we know that a case of 12 contains all 6 of the regular variants available and no guarantee of receiving a rare (Twilight and Fluttershy are a 1/24 chance, and Wonderbolts Rainbow Dash is a 1/48 chance).

So the possibility of me just getting the regular is high.

Hasbro Toy Fair 2020: My Little Pony Booth Tour - Pony Life, Equestria Girls Mini, Potions, and More!

New York Toy Fair 2020 is currently underway, and with that comes the My Little Pony display! The pony potion sets, pony life, and Equestria Girls Mini are Hasbro's main focus this year, and the booth is absolutely flooded with them. While Toy Fair doesn't always show off every piece of first-party merchandise they release in a year, it's usually a pretty good indication of the overall line.

Hasbro Livestream their New York Toy Fair Entertainment Brand Preview Event!

Hasbro will be live-streaming their Hasbro Pulse Entertainment Brand Preview Event today at 1:30 PM EST on their Hasbro Pulse Facebook Page.

The presentation, filled with announcements, will run for approximately one hour. After that it will be one on one time for fan media with emphasis on seeing all the new products.

This is not to be confused with the investor's meeting and slide shows which happened yesterday.

TOY REVIEW: MLP Potion Surprise Batch 1 Blind Bags

It's a new fiscal year and that means its time for new toys to hit the shelves!

Which means we have new MLP toys to take a look at! And in the case of this Equestria Daily staffer, to review!

So you can probably expect a couple of these to come out over the next few weeks.I have some fun stuff ordered on Amazon I cannot wait to break into once it arrives!

Speaking of fun, I got in 24 of the My Little Pony Potion Surprise Blind Bag toys today!

Which I bought with my own money for anyone wondering.

(Debunked) Possible 2020 G5 Movie Designs Revealed in New My Little Pony Toys?

Amazon Canada and UK have both listed up brand new toys that hint at a possible toyline reboot in 2020 that may be based off the G5 Movie designs. It's all speculation but these toy models are certainly interesting looking.

Unfortunately the boxes don't have any actual vector art like usual, only a potion bottle. The characters are less curvy with bigger heads and unshorn fetlocks down on the hooves. It would be surprising if they straight up went with the mane 6 again, especially since none of these three have changed much at all outside of overall design. 

What do you guys think?

Update: As someone did mention, the G5 transition movie was delayed till 2021, so these might just be toys to fill the gap that are still based on G4 but heavily stylized. 

Update 2: Our sources closely involved with this issue notified us they are indeed just a new toyline and appear to not have any relationship with G5. Still, they are pretty interesting looking for a new line of pony toys.

Hasbro's NYCC Transformers Press Event!

Surprise! Bet you weren't expecting to see Hasbro's Flagship toy property on Equestria Daily today!

Well to be frank, I wasn't expecting to receive an invite from Hasbro to come to this event. So when the invite came in, of course I said "YES!"

Anyways as part of Hasbro's NYCC plans, they held a special Press Event where they unveiled a number of new products coming out both later this year and in Q1 of 2020.

Like the above Cel-Shaded Optimus Prime and Megatron! Just look at those two. They look like they came straight out of the original cartoon! Which is appropriate since they were created to celebrate the franchise's 35th anniversary!

New Cutie Mark Crew Macaron Mystery Set Revealed

Officially dubbed the Suger Sweet Rainbow™ pack, this set features 12 Mystery Figures that can come in pony, seapony, or Equestria Girl form and also pair with a matching macaron shaped stand. Hasbro sent us a sample to review so expect that sweet thing to come later. See below for the unpacked ponies and the official release description!

New Fluttershy and Applejack Friendship is Magic Story Sets Appear!—Asia Region Exclusives

Hasbro's website was recently updated with some of the newest and latest toys for the My Little Pony toyline. Among them were two brand new story packs. One for Fluttershy and one for Applejack.

However when I tried to source these toys to let everyone know where you could purchase them, I ran into a stone wall. None of the partner retailers on Hasbro's US website carried it. So I reached out to our friends at Hasbro to see if they knew where it was being sold.

They got back to me with the answer that these toys, much like the last Equestra Girls Minis line (the one which featured the Humane 7 in their reboot outfits), was developed specifically for the Asian market.

This is unfortunate because that is a blindbag scaled Angel Bunny packaged with this Fluttershy. It is the only one which has been produced in this scale. And I, and probably many others, need it.

So if you happen to have a friend who lives in Asia, consider asking them to track it down for you. As for me, I need to do the same…

It was one of the more… okay. I'll be completely upfront. This one startled me three times in 10 minutes front of the MLP Marketing and Designs teams at Toy Fair.

We were all dying after the third time, and I'll sum up the review of the toy right now.

This toy is a lot of fun and perfect for My Little Pony fans of all ages.

New York Toy Fair 2019 My Little Pony Booth - Full Tour and Gallery

New York Toy Fair has begun, and with it comes our yearly coverage of Hasbro's My Little Pony booth. Thanks to our reporter on site The Illustrious Q we can share you a impression of this year's My Little Pony toys and merchandise being showcased at the fair.

There do not seem to be much new toys this year compared to previous years. Emphasis seems to be on the Cutie Mark Crew toyline.
