Good morning New York City!
Which you will be able to find after the break!
Lightningstar1389 (Natalie Haines), who illustrates covers for IDW's My Little Pony and Sonic the Hedgehog series, has revealed a textless version of her cover for My Little Pony: Camp Bighoof issue 3 (see below for the full image). Notably, she also says that she's snuck a Sonic reference into this cover:
Also now that this part is shown, I can emphasize Sonic pony hehehe ✨🪽
Update (June 8, 2023): IDW artist Reggie Graham, who colored the IDW Endless Summer connected covers, has revealed a textless version of the art on Twitter. The original post from May 31 is below.
The remaining two connecting covers for IDW's Endless Summer One-Shot comics are now available, following the reveal of the MLP and Sonic connecting covers earlier this month. The two new covers, featuring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Dungeons & Dragons, slot in to the left and right of the MLP cover.
All of the four connecting covers were illustrated by IDW artist Jack Lawrence, who also illustrated the interior of the Dungeons & Dragons Endless Summer comic.
A panel from IDW's My Little Pony 40th Anniversary Special has been revealed on Twitter by Riley Farmer, the editor of the G5 My Little Pony comics.
An article in the June 2023 edition of the magazine Licensing World appears to claim that IDW Publishing, the company that produces the official My Little Pony comics, will soon be releasing a new series based on My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale.
My Little Pony
Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, My Little Pony has dropped brand-new content and opened immersive LBE [location-based entertainment] attractions including the co-branded Transformers & My Little [Pony] Playlodge. IDW continues its 11-year run of My Little Pony comics based on the new Netflix animated series Make Your Mark and will soon release a new programme based on the YouTube series Tell Your Tale. Since launching in 1983, My Little Pony has catapulted itself from a toy brand to an award-winning entertainment universe that attracts premier partnerships across Lifestyle, Fashion and many more categories worldwide.
This is a bit odd, since Riley Farmer, the editor of the G5 My Little Pony comics, has previously stated that there are no more new MLP comic series to be announced this year, which would seem to contradict the "soon" part. The use of the word "programme" is also kind of weird, but that's how they wrote it, and it's all we have to go off of at the moment.
IDW artist Natalie Haines has revealed on Twitter that her covers for the 5-issue miniseries My Little Pony: Camp Bighoof are connected with each other.
IDW MLP Bighoof cover 2 revealed! 🎶
(Slowly but surely, it's all connecting now.. 👀)
Not all of the images have been released yet, but we can now see what the first two look like joined up together. Those two are Camp Bighoof #1 Variant B (82771403171300121) and Camp Bighoof #2 Variant B (82771403171300221).
Haines has also shared textless versions of her IDW Endless Summer covers, which are included below along with the textless versions of her Camp Bighoof covers.
