"Sabotage" LP by Black Sabbath
Article description
"Sabotage" was recorded in February 1975 at the Morgan Studios in London. Since the recordings took a long time and the band worked together with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, "Sabotage" has been the most expensive album produced by the band. The conflicts between Ozzy Osbourne and Tony Iommi were aggravated, when Osbourne accused the guitarist to be "obsessed" with finding the exactly right tone. One may justifiably claim, that such an obsession β or let's rather say determination β has paid off in this case. "Symptom of the Universe" alone has influenced a whole generation of thrash metal bands and the band became a blueprint for everything calling itself doom or stoner metal!
