There are several mailing lists for ACE TAO CIAO. This document explains what each list is for and how to subscribe/unsubscribe from these lists (you must subscribe to the list to post to the list).
This list is moderated and is reserved exclusively for announcements of new releases of ACE and of new releases of ACE-related documentation and technical papers. The volume of messages on this list is therefore very light (e.g., 1 posting every couple of months). General information about the mailing list is at http://list.isis.vanderbilt.edu/mailman/listinfo/ace-announce. If you ever want to unsubscribe or change your options (eg, switch to or from digest mode, change your password, etc.), visit your subscription page at:
http://list.isis.vanderbilt.edu/mailman/options/ace-announce/<whatever your email address is>
You can also make such adjustments via email by sending a message to [email protected] with the word `help' in the subject or body (don't include the quotes), and you will get back a message with instructions.
This list is available for discussing usage, enhancements, and porting issues regarding ACE. All questions about ACE should be posted using the $ACE_ROOT/PROBLEM-REPORT-FORM and responses from the DOC group are subject to the constraints of our bug fix process. ACE users who need ``predictable'' responses to their questions should contact companies that provide ACE commercial support. In general, ACE bug reports should be sent to [email protected], as described below.
