    No, we do not hide donations you qualify for from you. What you see is based solely on criteria each company sets. Upgrading WILL NOT increase your donation selection.

  • What is the typical ROI of an upgrade?

    Upgraded events in 2023 received an average of 4.8x the number of donations and $10,500 in more donation value than free accounts; (national average; results can vary by city/region).

  • Are there additional fees owed based on what we receive?

    No, DonationMatch DOES NOT collect a % of funds raised or a per-item charge. It is free to utilize our platform at the free account level. If you choose to upgrade, upgrade fees are all-inclusive for platform services. In the rare instance that a donation provider asks for reimbursement, such as for shipping and handling of physical goods, an estimate of those potential costs is required to be disclosed before requests are made, and fees would be payable directly to providers, not DonationMatch.

To qualify to use DonationMatch, you must have:

  • IRS-recognized federal “Exempt” status (U.S.) or CRA “Qualified Donee” status (Canada)

  • State charity registrations in “Good standing,” as required by law

  • The ability to be verified as an authorized contact

  • A live website
