Inventor Chris is passionately continuing the work of her apparently dead parents. Her nocturnal lodger George, oblivious to the world around her, is surprised to find that due to an infestation of cockroaches, they have embarked on an impromptu road trip.
With George's loyal lapdog and stalker extraordinaire Matt in tow, the three end up mysteriously trapped in a disused roadside cafe, and are forced to find their own ways of getting through the night.
