Puntos a favor:

Me gusta mucho PyCharm, es un potente IDE enfocado a desarrolladores de Python. Tiene funcionalidades muy interesantes como: su resaltado de sintaxis inteligente, depuración integrada y análisis de código estático que me permite mejorar mi productividad y la de mi equipo. Su completa gestión de proyectos facilita la navegación y el refactorizado. Además, ofrece soporte para Django, Flask y otros frameworks, lo que lo convierte en una herramienta imprescindible si llevas proyactos en Python.

Contras:

Trabajar con PyCharm es increíble, pero en ocasiones por motivos de la empresa toca trabajar en equipos que no cuentan con muchos recursos, es allí donde PyCharm puede tener inconvenientes al ser un IDE que consume mucho recursos. Por lo demás, no he tenido ningún inconveniente de importancia.

Mejor herramienta para trabajar con pyhton.

Comentarios: Siempre tuve problema para procesar librerías en python con numpy, jp, matplot a pesar que son de uso tradicional, en python versión simple de la empresa para instalarlos son un problema y ejecutando directamente desde pycharm facilita este proceso.

Puntos a favor:

Es un programa que facilita los procesos, en especial el proceso de instalación de librerías que siempre es un problema con la versión normal, debido a que siempre pide descargar independiente de la instalación. Pycharm se incluye esta librería y solo hay que llamarlas, facilita mucho las cosas.

Contras:

Su instalación consume mucho recurso computacional, cuando usamos este programa limita los demás procesos y ocupa mucho espacio en la memoria RAM.

PyCharm es una herramienta imprescindible en mi flujo de trabajo. Me encanta su interfaz intuitiva y su potente editor de código que hacen que la programación sea más eficiente y placentera. Además, tiene la capacidad de depuración y las sugerencias de autocompletado lo que han elevado mi productividad al eliminar errores y acelerar el desarrollo. Así mismo, la integración con Git facilita el control de versiones y colaboración.

Contras:

Sería interesante que pudieran optimizar el uso de recursos, ya que a veces puede consumir mucha memoria, lo que podría afectar el rendimiento en máquinas con especificaciones más modestas.

increíble IDE para Python

Puntos a favor:

PyCharm es un increíble IDE para Python, llevo más de un año usándolo y estoy completamente satisfecho. Su editor inteligente, depuración efectiva y el soporte para frameworks populares hacen que el desarrollo sea rápido y eficiente. La integración con sistemas de control de versiones y las herramientas de gestión de proyectos son excelentes. Por eso, PyCharm ha sido una elección acertada.

Contras:

PyCharm es increíble pero me gustaría que afinaran más el tema de consumo de recursos, ya que para usuarios con equipos que no cuentan con características decentes puede no ir muy bien.

Increíble IDE para programar en python

Puntos a favor:

De lo mejor que he visto para programar en python, cero problemas a la hora de integrar librerías de terceros, su idea para crear entornos virtuales para proyectos distintos y así tener python limpio siempre que se quiera es altamente recomendable.Los errores por norma general los suele marcar bastante bien y la corrección de código mientras se escribe también es muy buena

Contras:

Hay dos versiones, una de pago y otra comunity. He probado las dos, configurar django en la de pago es más sencillo pero pagar al año una licencia, lo veo excesivo, quizá sería mejor pagar por tu versión de pycharm y hacer actualizaciones durante un tiempo.

Si empiezas con Phyton es tu editor indispensable

Comentarios: Este es mi primer y çunico editor para trabjar con Phyton, un lenguaje que lo estoy empezando a usar y me encanta justamente por que este editor lo hace todo más fácil. Desde avisarme cuando tengo errores en las líneas de código hasta darme consejos de como mejorar mi código.

Puntos a favor:

Primeramente que existe una versión para Mac, que es mi entorno principal de trabajo. Es super fácil de usar y tiene muy buenos consejos de codificación en la marcha.

Contras:

A veces suele ser un poquito pesado para sistemas mac Intel, se demora un poco en cargar pero cuando ya está encendido trabaja de forma excelente.

EL mejor IDE para Python

Comentarios: Mi experiencia con PyCharm a sido excelente, hace poco más de una año decidí aprender Python, y una de las cosas que más me gustaron de PyCharm es la forma inteligente en el cual me hacía las correcciones cuando tenía errores de código. Ahora se a convertido en mi principal entorno de trabajo.

Puntos a favor:

PyCharm es un entorno de trabajo muy fácil de usar, si inicias con Python este IDE es indispensable, ya que te va brindando consejo sobre la marcha y resalta los errores de sintaxis.

Contras:

hasta el momento no he tenido inconvenientes con PyCharm.

Perfecto para programar en Python

Puntos a favor:

Lo que me gusta de PyCharm es su entorno de trabajo, resulta ser muy intuitivo y fácil de usar. Además, cuando existen líneas de código que pueden generar conflictos, PyCharm resalta los errores de sintaxis y te ofrece correcciones de código, esto es muy útil para quienes inician en el mundo de Python.

Contras:

No he tenido problemas al usar PyCharm, y acostumbrarme a su plataforma ha sido muy rápida, simplemente genial.

Para mí el mejor IDE

Comentarios: Perfecta, lo uso cada día en el trabajo y es el mejor programa para programar en python de los que he probado

Puntos a favor:

Simplemente me encanta, la interfaz, las posibilidades de edición, cómo refracta el codigo...

Contras:

En ocasiones puede tardar bastante en abrir, puede relentizar el pc si es antiguo

El mejor IDE de Python

Comentarios: Sin duda, PyCharm es el mejor IDE Python, mi experiencia general es por demás satisfactoria, no lo cambio por ningún otro.

Puntos a favor:

Es el mejor IDE para programar en Python, tiene integraciones perfectas para administrar la base de datos, framework, acceso a una infinidad de librerías, etc.

Contras:

Lo único que no me gusta mucho es el precio, por ahora, ya que recién empiezo, una vez tenga más trabajo, el precio no será significante.

IDE para Python moderno e inteligente

Puntos a favor:

Como cualquier producto de Jetbrains se trata de un software con una interfaz moderna, intuitiva y altamente personalizable. Ayuda a la productividad gracias a que marca advertencias y errores y a que propone formas de solventarlos, incluyendo incluso alternativas más eficientes a pequeños bloques de código. Permite la instalación de plugins y la integración con Git, base de datos y otras herramientas.

Contras:

No he encontrado ninguna desventaja de momento.

pycharm para manejo de datos

su facil implementación y desarrollo para aplicaciones pequeñas y el alance de la empresa

Contras:

difícil implementación sin conocimientos previos de python a personal no especializado

Genial para el desarrollo en Python

El IDE es muy demandante respecto a recursos de la PC

Comentarios: My overall experience has been great thus far. I believe I will continue to use it in my professional career. I would absolutely recommend this product for any software engineer, machine learning engineer or even a data scientist who wants to do some scripting work.

Puntos a favor:

I have been using this IDE for a short time now. I must say it extremely amazing. I love how convenient and easy it is to use. The layout is fantastic. Having everything present in a single place like that definitely makes my life much easier as an engineer .The code editing tools are amazing, the code improvement recommendation system that they have is definitely a plus to have, sometimes the IDE recommends me to do certain actions I would have never have thought of on my own. Also it helps finish my code blocks automatically which is great. I also like how I could split the screen multiple parts fairly easily for code review. I could go on and on. I would definitely recommend Pycharm or any JetBrains product for that matter. They work incredibly hard and it shows in their work. In short Pycharm is awesome and I recommend you start using it.

Contras:

I don't have any major critiques of the IDE but I would say perhaps having a co-pilot would be an incredible improvement to make it an even better IDE. Other than that I have no issues with it.

My opinion on PyCharm after 3 years

Comentarios: I quite like the overall experience, I think is a very mature tool and I have suggested it to all my colleagues working with Python Django.

Puntos a favor:

What I do really like about PyCharm is the search features. I think they are really useful and work great!

Contras:

Would be nice when working on a Django project have directly the HTML markdown syntax highlighting for Django templating language. Also I would really love to have the git annotate function as in VS code (instead of having a sidebar having a comment like line whit the git author on the highlighted line). Sometimes I had trouble with the Python interpreter going crazy and had to reset it. Also the markdown syntax highlighting for .MD files is superheavy and the computer slows down

A smooth coding platform

Comentarios: I have an amazing experience with pycharm despite I am a new user.

Puntos a favor:

Easy to install libraries, easy debugging code, fast and smooth program running.

Contras:

Give a benign error message on Mac OS Sonoma 14.2.1.

You can do better (and worse, too)

Comentarios: I don't like it very much. Interacting with PyCharm (in other ways than just writing code) is frequently slow and confusing. The last couple of times I opened it, I immediately closed it and opened VSCode instead. I keep it installed anyway, as it did help me quite a bit back when I had to build a compiler from the ground up. If you really, REALLY need an IDE, then I guess you could do worse than PyCharm.

Puntos a favor:

Easy package searching and installation once the initial setup is done. It has plenty of debugging features, and it's handy to keep track of a large project.

Contras:

It's not exactly lightweight. Using it to install Python on my Windows machine turned out to be quite a hassle. I've been using it for years, and while it's decent for medium to large projects, there is really no reason to use it if all you need is a short script.

Specialized python development comes with perks

Comentarios: For python it is great.
Lots of tools for development and code review. Integrates with other Jet Brains tools.

Puntos a favor:

The specialized nature of the ide really shines through with so many features that make it great to work with python code bases. The only problem is that you will find it hard to give up once you use it.

Contras:

I had to rewrite/redo environment variable and settings I had set up in VS code because they are input into the UI not kept in a setting file.

Not cheap, but wouldn't do with it

Puntos a favor:

Pycharm's code assistance features make it invaluable, particularly if you're learning to code. I've been using it for 5 years since I started learning Python, and still use it now for all my product development. It's constantly being updated and improved.

Contras:

Subscription fees aren't cheap, but the time the save while developing make it well worth the cost.

Convenient and Efficient

Comentarios: The overall experience has been pretty good and it was really easy to get used to the software when I started using it. All the features - code completion, project-specific interpreter, debugger, etc. have been really helpful and enhanced my coding experience in a positive manner

Puntos a favor:

The code completion feature, the ability to create a different virtual environment for every project that I make on the application so that I don't have to upgrade or downgrade my libraries without reason, the seamless integration with Github and the interface of the debugger is really great.

Contras:

Nothing significant, I think it's probably the fact that I am too used to its code completion feature and find trouble adjusting to other IDE's whenever I have to switch. Its startup time could be improved.

Not expensive, but has a lot of features.

Comentarios: One of the best IDE's for developers and not only. Considering the fact that it has so many cool features, prices are not as high as they supposed to be.

Puntos a favor:

PyCharm's best reference is that the software was developed by JetBrains. Seriously, there was no any software that was developed by JetBrains and was bad for me. It has integrated debugger. It has many shortcuts. Also, Pycharm highlight your code with different colors to read it easier and has code completion feature.

Contras:

It uses a lot of computer resources, especially RAM. As a result, laptops batteries levels can go up to 0% much faster.

Great Product for learning python

I like that this is open-sourced software for learning the programming language Python.

Contras:

There is a bit of a learning curve. But, if you find videos on YouTube you can figure it out

Intuitive But Complex User Interface

Comentarios: Firstly, I will say that the user interface is very intuitive but east to get the hang of it. It has everything in the initial window and one can use it according to the requirements I use Jupyter so that makes it easy for me. It can handle large data sets and can run any model easily; however, libraries are not preinstalled which seems less convenient to me. I would say my overall experience has been somewhat above average so far.

Puntos a favor:

I like the interface and its ability to integrate with the libraries I use like NumPy, pandas, and machine learning algorithms however, I have to install it. Also, I like the feature of having control over version history is very useful one can go to the previous version of code which save a lot of time.

Contras:

First of all, I did not like that installing and starting to use it takes a lot of time since it loads modules and a lot of necessary things which makes it slow at first. The user interface of PyCharm is great however, setting it up according to my requirements was not easy and I can say it is very complex for beginners.

Best Python IDE from JetBrains for aplication development

Comentarios: It is my daily tool for development of python programming tasks for research assignments. Also it is good in debugging and code inspection.

Puntos a favor:

For research work I am using Python to optimize my performance parameters, therefore I required a great tool for Python coding and using PyCharm, I found a great tool which is the best in current era. It is highly customizable and lots of additional plugin in available online. So I use it regularly for my research and development work.

Contras:

It is bit costly software and sometimes it fridges the laptop performance due to high memory consumption.

Good choice if you are looking for a heavier, feature-oriented Python IDE

Comentarios: Overall, it was a slow text editor for me, and I wasn't able to get all of the advanced features to work well in my environment. In other environments or if one decides to spend a lot of time in the configuration, it might eventually pay off. However, I'm personally more interested in a slimmer code editor.

Puntos a favor:

There are a lot of features built into PyCharm. The code completion which is like an intellisense is very handy. There are nice contextual features like jumping to a definition of a variable, method, class, etc.

Contras:

All of the features makes the software bulkier and ultimately a slower experience. I also never got to use some of the more advanced features because they didn't play well with my environment. I use projects based on buildout, and although there is buildout support built in, I found it too hard to set up and work out all of the kinks, so I ended up not even using most of those advanced features.
