Senior Full Stack Software Developer

We at Qtrac, have been developing real-time virtual queuing software for a decade, and have been creating a new product: - Based on best of class techniques on the Azure cloud platform. We are looking at expanding the team and want candidates that want to make exciting contributions to the project.

We expect the candidate will have a background in developing high availability REST based services, and if full stack: - Single page applications using modern TypeScript tooling, such as Angular or React.

Our core stack includes:

• Container managed REST based micro services, including real-time signaling using NodeJS and NestJS
• Extensive use of NoSQL
• Extensive use of Server-less business logic and routing – In C#/.NET
• Complex integrations, real-time signaling, and event bus features
• SPA Angular applications using TypeScript

The Ideal Candidate:

• Deep knowledge of object-oriented design and programming techniques
• Experience with high availability, high-scale, performance systems
• REST based Micro-service development skills – NodeJS or NestJS TypeScript.
• Cloud based development, either Azure or AWS using Azure Functions/Lambda
• NoSQL databases such as Cosmos DB
• Real-time systems knowledge – such as Event Bus, SignalR
• Familiarity with a broad mix of technologies including but not limited to C#, .Net, React.JS, and a range of open-source libraries
• Knowledge of containerization such as Docker or Kubernetes and EKS services would be a huge plus
• Experience in quality practices, techniques, and tools at all layers of the stack
• Proficiency in Git source control, Jira
• Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Integrated development environments
• Basic knowledge of Web UI: HTML5, CSS, and jQuery
• Basic knowledge of web application security
• Most importantly, the willingness to learn new skills and technologies
