Second Order Effects (SOE) is an engineering and research company that designs electro-mechanical hardware and firmware with high complexity and reliability. SOE supports companies in learning fast and moving quickly to develop client-derived custom hardware and firmware. SOE supports customers at any stage of development— from architecture to design, prototyping to testing, and through to production.

QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS:
We are the engineer’s engineer. SOE is an ITAR-registered facility, has numerous PhDs, and has designed things that fly in space, drive on public roads, and are used by doctors on patients. BACKGROUND:
SOE has helped over 100 clients across diverse industries, ranging from aviation and space to clean energy and medical devices. SOE hardware lives on satellites, operates aircraft, and makes self-driving cars safer. SOE was founded in 2016 and is ITAR registered with 90 employees in Los Angeles and Seattle offices.
