Forget an afternoon basking in the sun at Venice Beach — LA’s tech scene is the place to be this summer.

The summer season started off with a bang for many tech companies that call the City of Angels home. In June, investors poured millions into local up-and-comers across a wide range of sectors, from biotech to aerospace manufacturing, according to Crunchbase News.

As the summer rolls on, many tech companies are gearing up for an exciting future, driven by fresh capital, supportive workplaces and an eye for innovation. At Cie, team members are busy helping entrepreneurs reach their dreams, empowered by a culture that offers everyone a seat at the table. Meanwhile, Machina Labs, buoyed by a robust funding round, is eager to continue redefining the manufacturing industry with the latest technologies.

These tech frontrunners are just two of five local companies ready to take their products and services to the next level while prioritizing the well-being and success of those who make it all possible. Read on to learn why these companies have been named our featured companies of the month, and check out open roles at each one.
