Whether they’re helping businesses modernize AWS cloud environments or preparing for the future of AI, employees at Mission Cloud are always busy — but not too busy.

While hard work is critical to the company’s operations, it doesn’t detract from the organization’s commitment to employees’ health and well-being. With a wide range of perks, such as unlimited PTO and generous parental leave, the company ensures its people have plenty of opportunities to recharge and focus on what matters most, whether that’s building a family or exploring new cities.

It’s a similar story at Cie, where team members have the opportunity to harness their own passions while helping entrepreneurs realize theirs. Here, employees get to help cultivate a mission-driven culture rooted in teamwork, one where everyone is “on the same team.”

As both companies grow, future and current team members can expect to make an impact on themselves — and others. Read on to learn more about why Cie and Mission Cloud are our featured companies of the month.

What Cie does: Established in 1999, Cie functions as both an innovation lab and a startup accelerator, helping entrepreneurs build, reimagine and launch businesses. Some of the company’s creations include native-advertising platform Nativo and mobile-focused game studio Cie Games.

The Perks

  • Company equity
  • Mental health benefits
  • Flexible work scheduling
  • Generous PTO

‘We’re all on the same team’: Earlier this year, Built In LA caught up with Cie team members to learn how the company enables its people to cultivate a culture grounded in a strong mission and a universal focus on teamwork. “Collaborative is how I would describe our team culture: We’re all on the same team, with the same goal — making the world a better place,” said COO Alvin Fong.

What Mission Cloud does: Mission Cloud’s cloud services are designed to help businesses migrate, manage, modernize and optimize AWS cloud environments. In an effort to keep up with businesses’ growing interest in AI, the company recently announced the launch of the Mission AI Foundation, an initiative that’s intended to help organizations more effectively manage cloud infrastructure and build for the future of AI.

The Perks

  • Company equity
  • Mental health benefits
  • Flexible work scheduling
  • Generous PTO

Reinventing remote work: Mission Cloud Director of Talent Experience Rachel Donnelly checked in with Built In earlier this year to describe how the company cultivates real human connections in a remote setting. According to her, the key to accomplishing this is simple: Offer “opportunities to connect on common ground,” whether that’s related to a work project or a coworker’s kid’s soccer game.
