Situated in Hella in the South Iceland region, Áskot Cottages has a terrace and mountain views. With garden views, this accommodation features a patio. Staying at Askot Cottage for our first two days in Iceland was probably one of the best decisions we made during this trip. It made the first impression of this majestic country even better. The attention to detail in these cottages is unparalleled. The kitchen is immaculately equipped with everything you need to cook, eat, and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. Second, the bed and linen were unreal. We felt like we were sleeping on clouds. Clean, cozy, comfortable, spacious... just unique. When we woke up the following day, we enjoyed a slow and calm breakfast while watching beautiful horses through the giant window. The bathroom was also well equipped with everything you need - soap, shampoo, shower gel, enough toiletries, and towels. Everything was so warm, cozy, and compact - I honestly can't recall when was the last time we were taken care of so well. The check-in and check-out process was simple and smooth. We picked up and left our keys in a small lock box next to the door. Greta was also kind and notified us about leaving a cable when we left, so we returned and retrieved it without any issue. They also provided us with a Bluetooth speaker. We used to listen to Icelandic folk music—it was like a fairytale! The only downside was that we couldn't stay here longer. It was also a great location to visit nearby attractions, such as Kerid Crater, Bruarfoss, Faxafoss, Urridafoss, the cute town of Selfoss, and more. It's a fantastic place. Greta and Steiner did an excellent job. As experienced travelers, we cannot recommend this place enough. I'm looking forward to staying here again sometime. Best of luck!

One of the most beautiful apartment we have ever lived in on traveling. Very high quality interior design and decoration. Really nothing to complain! 5 starts + quality stay. Will definitely come back again!

The apartment was wonderfully new, with that fresh furniture smell, and its quiet location offered breathtaking beach views, close to the Black Sand Beach, making it highly recommended for a serene and private getaway.

Arctic Exclusive Ranch is set in Kirkjubæjarklaustur and offers barbecue facilities. This holiday home features a garden and free private parking. We got a free upgrade from a one bedroom house to a two bedroom, the showers were warm and the house was toasty! We even had a furry friend pay us a visit for the night. It made the whole experience that much sweeter!

Set in Fludir, Mosas cottages offers accommodation 33 km from Geysir and 43 km from Gullfoss Waterfall. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Featuring a hot tub, Blue View Cabin 5B With private hot tub is set in Reykholt. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. First of all, that location was fantastic. A small cabin on top of the hill -just doesn’t get any better than that.  And the cabinet south was very compact, but with good use of space. The bed was exceptional (and I never rave about holiday beds!).

Featuring garden views, Midholl guesthouse provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 48 km from Ljosifoss. The perfect place to get away from the crowds and enjoy the quiet countryside. You even get to visit with their cute cat and dog. It was also the perfect location for our daytrips around the south coast.
