The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, always happy and very kind and effective. Neighbourhood is peaceful and the views of Arunachala are great. The whole experience was beyond what we were wishing for. The apartment is very clean and spacious and bright, very good floor plan too. We highly recommend it. Also, neighbours are all very friendly and sweet.

Boasting quiet street views, Shri Sai Baba Homestay - EB Colony - Trichy provides accommodation with terrace, around 16 km from Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple. The rooms are exceptionally clean! Kudos to Suresh who has kept so clean. He is truly a professional guy.

The hosts (the couple) are very friendly and they make you feel welcome. The place is kept very clean, they put a lot of effort in keeping this place comfortable and tidy. The most memorable thing is the hospitality of the hosts and the food! Having travelled to many places in South India, the food prepared by the hosts was one of the best. (Felt very much like a homestay but you get your own privacy). We had breakfast (included), lunch, dinner for a low price for a very high quality meals. The area is also nice, you can easily get the boats and cannoeing trips booked. Also, you can reach the place easily from the station or by auto.

We stayed in the tree house at Kalidasa for 3 nights, what a truly magical experience we had! The accommodation in the treehouse is basic, clean and comfortable, but the setting and the hospitality of Sudheesh and his family are exceptional. Their recommended driver, Namshi, organised all our transport and arranged safaris for us. Sudheesh’s wife and mother produced delicious home cooked meals and Sudheesh was very happy to share his extensive knowledge of the area. They made our stay, in what is already a really beautiful place, as good as it could be. If you get chance to have a massage whilst you’re there, do, it’s another great experience! For a genuine local and back to nature experience, we highly recommend this place.
