If you're considering a trip to Koh Mak, this is your ideal stay! Nestled right on Oh Nid Pier, this delightful hut is just a three-minute walk from where you arrive and offers stunning beachfront views. You can listen to the soothing sounds of the waves all day—it’s incredibly relaxing and chill. The location is excellent since the island is small, allowing you to reach any destination within a maximum of 15 minutes on a motorbike. This place offers privacy and a personal retreat when you want to step back from the communal island life. The facilities truly stand out. Upon arrival, I was captivated by the expansive outdoor area, which includes a large patio right on the beach and a spacious balcony with a big dining table (perfect for game nights and inviting new friends over). There’s even an outdoor bed to relax on after a day at the beach. The room itself is quite large, comfortable, and surrounded by big windows that offer panoramic sea views. The bathroom is adequately sized with hot water, and basic toiletries are provided. The kitchen is well-equipped with a kettle, fridge, toaster, microwave, dishes, and everything you need for a pleasant stay. Moreover, the landlady, So (Natida), is wonderful. Booking this place not only means a great stay but also getting to know So. She goes above and beyond—from arranging bike rentals delivered right to your door to handling your laundry and maintaining the cleanliness of the hut. So is always there for her guests, genuinely caring about your experience and offering help whenever needed. She's truly a special person. Note that I initially planned to stay for 14 days and ended up extending it to 45 days. That’s how perfect this place and the island are!

Like all other reviews about this place, the price is fair and the location isn't bad, but what stood out was the amazing staff- every single one of them was very lovely and welcoming, right from the start showing us to the room, anytime we needed - bike rental, new towel, Toilet paper etc and right until the end when we needed help arranging a boat to the next island. The lobby offers drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and they can get food delivered if you'd like that. If like me, you're trying to save a few bucks this is the place for you.

The hospitality staff, Pim, Wi, and Puii, are incredibly attentive and ensure you have a great time during your trip. The beach is just a few minutes’ walk away, and the rooms are very clean, featuring a large, comfortable bed and a strong water flow in the shower. The property is located in a peaceful area, making it perfect for a long stay, whether for a week or even a month.
