Caesar took us for a tour of the Uros village which we very much enjoyed. The rooms are comfortable, clean and very cutely decorated. Delicious food served. Such a unique experience.

This place was absolutely outstanding and one of the most memorable stays we’ve had in nearly a year travelling in South America. Franco and his family were incredibly kind and welcoming, the food was delicious and the room was unbelievably luxurious, considering it’s floating in a lake at 3,800 metres altitude! I highly recommend staying here.

The room had an unbeatable view and Franco, our host was so kind and informative. We got to learn about the culture while staying in a luxurious suite. And Franco’s family was wonderful to meet-my daughters were so thankful to meet and play with Cathy (a girl their age)- Cathy, Keira says hi!! ❤️ Really an experience we will never forget!

We had our 2 kids (12 and 14) travel with us and we loved it. The location is rustic and homey. The families cooked us breakfast (included) and dinner. Electricity is generated via solar panels, so you need to ready for it. The family also took us for boat tours of the local village - it was charming and a chance to learn truly about local life. We HIGHLY recommend it - it is an opportunity to travel and support local families.

We had a wonderful time looking at the lake during the day and city lights at night. The huge windows gave us the perfect view - was truly magical! The family are very lovely & made us feel very welcome. The electric blanket on the bed was heaven (it gets very cold at night). Was very cool & novel to sleep on a floating island made of reeds. Compared to other accommodation options on the floating islands, our room was definitely a luxury option.

Lots of ways to keep warm in the night. Super tasty breakfast. Magnificent view. And even WiFi and warm water! And one more thing making it stand out: the canoe. You can take a small straw canoe here and go "shopping" to the other houses (islands) of the village.
