Travelled up to Scotland for my mothers 80th birthday. Cottage was cosy, having done my family tree, appears that my ancestors had lived in those very cottages. Interesting to find out, had a lovely week visiting family.

Loved the location, the castle was stunning. So clean and well stocked.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.

Location the quietness.
Falls of Clyde a short walk away
Fantastic cottage with amazing views over the river. The setting in the New Lanark Village is second to none. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay.
Staff fantastic, could not do enough for you, but the landlady (she made Mrs Cresswell, the Villa Bella, “Only Fools and Horses Jolly Boys Outing Christmas Special” look tame), it was not funny.
It was obvious the staff were very scarred of her, could not believe how she treated my wife. That’s another story.
This is a great place to stay: Homey, comfortable, well-equipped and quiet. We stopped here after a camping trip and it was the perfect place to regroup and get clean, and feel like we were being treated to a little bit of luxury. Lin and Hector are lovely hosts, and it was nice to know they were next door if we needed anything. We would definitely come back and also recommend to friends.
Cath is the most wonderful host I had the pleasure to encounter. She goes out of her way to make your stay luxurious.
And you have to have the breakfast. Cannot buy that in any restaurant. Everything is fresh and the quality is excellent too. 10/10
The location, the impressive look of the hotel, the features left in the rooms from the original mill (pipework peeping out everywhere) the finish of the rooms, the views, the leisure facilities, the warmth and welcome of the staff, the luxury of robes in the room, brilliant tea and coffee tray. Far exceeded our expectations on everything especially for what it cost which included breakfast
Hotel is in the heritage village of New Lanark so excellent for exploring that & the lovely walk along the Clyde to the Falls of Clyde. The hotel staff were excellent & the food was very good. Rooms were very comfortable.
We chose New Lanark Mill as a cheaper stopover for a trip to Edinburgh and found a gem! It's a destination in itself with beautiful grounds, a luxury hotel experience and interesting history. We'll definitely go back and stay longer next time.
It's a beautiful location for a quiet cozy break. Lots of nature and of course history with the New Lanark village and mill. The New Lanark Mill hotel is super lovely and very very well kept. Our room was spacious and we had a beautiful view. The food was great. I didn't try the spa and pool but all in all it was a fab stay and we'll be back I'm sure.
