It’s easy to go to Carara National Park and the crocodile tour is down the road. We were happy to stay in this quiet and local place in stead of Jaco near by. Only thing I might yeild if you do stay there is the town that is walkable did not seem very tourist friendly

The facilities are excellent. We particularly liked the rooftop terrace which has a sink and sockets so you can take up the hob from your room and cook up there over a glass of wine. The seafood in Tarcoles is fantastic as you would expect in a fishing village and the birdwatching is good too.
