Historic Lakeside villa - ski, boat, relax in náttúra er staðsett í Sunnansjö í Dalarna-héraðinu og er með verönd og garðútsýni. This is my third stay in this place. I came skiing at Romme Alpin in February with a group of friends and we enjoyed the cosy fire and amazing views over the lake. I came with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday in May - the weather was incredible and it was 25 degrees in the lake!!! Myself and some friends were looking for a kayaking holiday this summer but everything we found was too expensive. The owners here now provide 9 kayaks and a row boat for guests free of charge, so this was perfect, and very much cheaper than a kayaking centre. We went swimming and enjoyed kayaking around the three interlinking lakes. We watched the sunrise and sunset from the balcony and we even got to see the northern lights which was such a treat. The villa is very clean and well equipped with lots of cooking equipment, a barbecue and some garden games but for us the highlight was definitely the kayaking in summer! I would also recommend this place as a base for skiing as is a short drive to Säfsen ski resort and Romme Alpin is about a 40 minute drive.
