Centrally located and only a 10-minute drive from the airport, the Hotel Ponta Delgada features a family ambience and comfortable furnishings. It features an elevated indoor pool. The breakfast was great, a lot more food options than expected, we were pleasantly surprised. The room and common spaces were really clean. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel. You may want to keep in mind that the hotel is about a 10 min walk to the center of town. We did not mind the walk at all and I choose this location because I really wanted a pool. We were very happy with our choice.

Hotel Matriz is located in Ponta Delgada's historical centre, São Miguel Island of the Azores archipelago. Free WiFi access is available is common areas. This hotel was perfect! The location is great- just a few minutes from the city center with lots of restaurants, shopping, and tourist sites. The staff was very helpful scheduling taxis and recommending where to eat and shop. The room was clean and well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. All for a great price! Would definitely stay here again for a safe and comfy stay in Ponta Delgada!

Neat Hotel Avenida provides accommodation in Ponta Delgada near Portas da Cidade and Santuario Nossa Senhora da Esperanca. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private... Good hotel, a bit overpriced like most in Azores (supply vs demand). Nice clean room, all satisfactory.

On the southern coast of Sao Miguel Island, Vinha da Areia Beach Hotel is a cozy, comfortable, family friendly hotel. It is on the beach and the marina. You can go to the beach and book a boat trip/tour or ferry to the islet in the same day. The rooms are large for Europe, more the size of the rooms you find in the United States. The bed linens are nice and soft!

The Apartamentos Turísticos Nossa Senhora Da Estrela is located in the centre of Lagoa, a 7-minute drive from Ponta Delgada. It was a huge apartment with 2 baths. The desk girl was lovely, she took care of all our needs.
