Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. View, cleanliness, and staff was super nice. Kitchen and food were delicious.

Right on the shore of the scenic Kawaguchiko Lake, Hotel New Century boasts spacious Japanese-style rooms overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. Staff was incredibly helpful and kind, offered great suggestions and were always there to help us. We enjoyed the Japanese room and the view of the lake and Mt. Fuji, in particular, we loved the chair setting by the window. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious (and different every day). There's a shuttle service that we used after check-out to get to the train station and they lend us umbrellas when the rain was coming.

Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. The food was great, each meal was made up of various dishes, typically japanese. The view of the lake and mount fuji from the room and the public bath was breathtaking. The staff was very kind and helpful. They can pick you up from the station and drop you off too. The room was clean and quite large, more than enough for a couple.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Fuji Fabric Stay is situated in Fujikawaguchiko. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Host was really nice and friendly, he waited us before we arrived. Nice place, nice location, nice host.

It was quiet and cozy. The surrounding was beautiful with all the autumn trees. You can see Fuji San from the cafe in the hotel.

The staff are very friendly, providing us with a lot of travel tips and introducing the facilities in the room. Truly great experience! The design of the hotel is beautiful and intriguing, the room is classy, spacious with bright opnings on nature. The private onsen is a fabulous experience (after 14 years in Japan), the diner was very good, the breakfast in the room was delicious.

Family run Ryokan with a beautiful Japanese rock garden. Yo, the son speaks good English and was more than helpful. As it was a quiet time he transported us to see local sites, recommended local eateries and himself prepared excellent traditional Japanese food. Fabulous hot tub room included in the stay.
