It was near to the station, the shops. I stayed for just one night as I was travelling on and slept so well in the comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and the room was spotless.

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Green Rich Hotel Kurashiki Ekimae (Artificial hot spring Futamata Yunohana) is located in Kurashiki, 400 metres from Shinkeien Garden and 9.2 km from Mizushima Ryokuchi... The whole place has a clean modern feeling, but in a traditional style. The capsule is really big and private, and the botel never really sleeps - you can return home super late and still jump in the onsen, or chill out in the relaxation area on tatami mats and get a bite to eat in the early hours. There was calming tranditional shamisen music playing over the speakers. In one word, the feeling of the hotel was 'serene'.

The capsule room has space for you, all your luggage, and you still have walking space. If you need a towel or a pyjama replacement you can just go and ask. The female onsen has a safety code, which makes you have your bath more relaxed. There were different types of baths in the onsen, and also a sauna. Will definitely come back if I happen to be in the area.

Just a 5-minute walk from JR Okayama Train Station, Okayama Koraku Hotel offers modern rooms with free wired internet and a flat-screen TV. Guests can enjoy massages and free-use bicycles. A very nice hotel. The location is good, preaty close to the station and not to far from the garden and castle. There's also a nice canal right next to the hotel, which is nice to walk by. And plenty of restaurants right around the corner.

Originally built in 1889 as a red-brick cotton mill, this historical hotel is just 300 metres from the Bikan Historical Quarter. It features 2 restaurants, a bar and gift shop. We had a very nice stay at Kurashiki Ivy Square. The room was well appointed, had a kettle and soaps and shampoos. There are three self serve washing machines that you can use for about $5 a load - bearing warned that washing and drying a load will take 2 hours. The staff is very accommodating and you are right in the middle of everything. A lovely town.
