The hotel seems to be very new and everything feels just right. It starts with the tatami mats on the whole hotel area which is walkable without shoes and it ends with the very nice onsen on the 13th floor. You have two big onsens and 7 private onsen baths which are "first come, first serve". But no worries, you will find a free bath quite fast. During the waiting time, you can enjoy free ice cream, massage chairs or mangas (jp only) with a great view over beppu. The hotel is worth every yen you will spend and the hot onsen water baths are the cherry on the top. Definately recommend to stay here👍.

Situated in Yufu, 48 km from Resonac Dome Oita, 旅館 竹屋 Takeya features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The location was perfect for me, 10 minutes walking from the train / bus station and on top of a light hill, so the view from our room was incredibly nice. (This also means that if you are going on foot you have to walk uphill, no big deal for us, but if you have heavy luggage it could be difficult). Both dinner and breakfast were japanese-style, but not too traditional on both taste and texture (I say this as a plus, because my partner is not keen on super traditional Japanese cooking and still managed to eat most of his breakfast). We were also offered non-meat options beforehand, which is great! The building is a mixture of western and japanese styles, so for example the common room has high tables and chairs and a parquet, while the rooms have tatami. Everything was lovely, the common area had a beautiful terrace with a view, our room had a small balcony with outside seats and a private onsen bathtub. The owner is a very nice man and we chatted during dinner. We speak good enough Japanese, so language wasn't a problem, but the owner also speaks good enough English and is very helpful. We had free access to coffee, tea and water from the common room and two complimentary water bottles in the room.

I like everything about this place — location at the lake, comfort of the room, delicious breakfast, great onsen, wonderful staff n boss. This is the perfect place to stay in Yufuin. Yufu'da yer alan Yufuin Yufusaryo'da spa küveti bulunmaktadır. Bu 3 yıldızlı ryokan bagaj muhafaza alanı ve temizlik hizmeti sunmaktadır. It was lovely and perfect to stay here!!!!! We were 4 of us, Grandma, mummy, and 2 kids. The room was super clean, neat, spacious and quiet. Private bath has big windows so it's almost like open air. Hot spring water is so good. There's small but beautiful Zen garden which is very well managed. The host is very kind :) And there is Convenient store in 5-7 walk distance.

So many beautiful details everywhere on the property and the rooms like ikebana, face mask, private dining room for everyone, all electricity outlets covered with different prints, unique furniture..So much love and thought was put into everything. The staff and the owner went the extra mile eg special drop off time, adjusted breakfast time just for me..The breakfast and dinner were out of this world delicious.

Yufu'daki Oita Bank Dome'a 44 km ve Kinrinko Gölü'ne 1,8 km uzaklıkta yer alan Yufudake Ichibo no Yado Kirara oturma alanına sahip konaklama birimleri sunmaktadır. Everything was PHENOMENAL! The staff were amazing, kind, and helpful. Food was absolutely delicious!!!! Room was exactly what was pictured, clean, and tidy. And of course, the onsen water was relaxing. The view of the mountain from the open-air onsen was breathtaking. I highly recommend and would definitely come back!! Oh and you also get to wear yukata for meals which is super fun as well.
