A recently renovated property, $4 HOME STAY (5 MINT WALK FROM GOLDEN TEMPLE) is situated in Amritsar near Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh and Partition Museum. The staff went well out of their way to take care of me and ensure a safe and easy arrival and late night departure. Breakfast, Amritsari Kulcha, was awesome. Communication was instantaneous when needed. Neighborhood was quiet and away from the endless honking of a Main Street.

I had the room next to the reception, so I had great wifi. Apparently, the rooms further back towards the mini garden sometimes were without wifi
