The location is picture perfect, literally. It is on the western coast of the island, so if there is a sunset, you would see it. On our days, it was rainy, but that simply brought a different kind of beauty. The beaches were mostly empty - we had them to ourselves. There are several ways to get to the beach below, and all are an easy, short walk. Yet, the hotel is elevated, so you have a lovely view of the coastline. The room was light and airy, and very clean. There is plenty of storage space, and a nice shower with plenty of pressure. The bed was very comfortable, and there were room darkening curtains. The hotel was full when we were there, but it was still quiet. Breakfast is not included, but we found it to be worth the price. There was a lot of variety in the pastries offered, along with cheese, meat, boiled eggs, cereal, and fruit. We would recommend this place, and would stay again.

Located in Boyardville, the recently renovated Les Marinières d'Oléron provides accommodation 800 metres from Plage de Boyardville and 2.3 km from Fort Boyard. A beautiful little apartment right in the centre of Boyardville. It provided a lovely island of peace right next to the restaurants, marina and beach. We were able to kayak, bike to Chateau D'Oleron, go for runs through the pine forest - lovely place!

Facing the beachfront, Les Bains Boyardville - Hôtel et Restaurant offers 3-star accommodation in Boyardville and features a garden, terrace and restaurant. very small boutique hotel, staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant was FANTASTIC and if you like seafood it’s the best. Breakfast was also fabulous with really good coffee.

Village Vacances Passion Les Bris, a property with a bar and barbecue facilities, is located in Saint-Trojan-les-Bains, 1.5 km from Plage de Gatseau, 2 km from Plage du Soleil, as well as 2.4 km from... It is difficult for me to give an accurate appraisal. I live 2 hours from the Ile d'Oleron but this is my first visit; The weather was atrocious so I was not able to explore as much as I would have liked. Having said that I will definitely be returning a second time !!!
