We stayed here one night, and it was the perfect location for visiting Moustiers Sainte Marie. The setting was beautiful and private, and our room was huge. The bed, pillows and bedding were very nice and super comfy. Breakfast was good and consisted of meats, cheeses, yogurt, jams, croissants, fruit and more.

The rooms at Hôtel Restaurant L'Ermitage feature a balcony, en suite facilities with bath, free toiletries and a hairdryer, and a flat-screen TV. They also offer views of the pool. Some rooms have air conditioning. We got to the hotel late, but, you're in the mountains and from our room balcony you could see horses and mountains and there were some cute kittens playing outside. So nice to be in absolute peace and silence. At night you can see every star in the sky. The room is huge, compared to other hotel rooms in France. There is like a foyer area where you an put any gear and luggage you may have, then the actual bedroom is separated into it's own room. The balcony had a nice table and two chairs. They have a pizza restaurant on property, but we had pizza earlier in the day, so, thankfully, there is a tiny, little town center a 5min drive away. There was a Middle Eastern place open, so thankfully, they had falafels, since my husband and I don't eat meat and we did take away and we bought a bottle of wine at the pizza restaurant and enjoyed our food on the balcony. If you are visiting Gorges du Verdon, I would highly recommend this place. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to use the pool, but I wasn't sure if it was open or not.
