Friendly and helpful staff. Room clean, breakfast OK. Good location to explore the city. We came during non-peak season, hence easy to park our car right opposite the hotel.

We've been travelling a lot and have stayed in many places. Usually, I would not take the time to leave a review for a hotel where we only stayed one night - I don't have the time. However, this hotel stood out positively in almost every aspect (most other places had some really nice aspects, but also some issues) and was really good value.
With a magnificent view of Miranda do Corvo and located just 10 minutes from Coimbra, Hotel Quinta do Viso offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and classic décor, as well as an outdoor swimming...
Situated on the slopes of Buçaco Mountain, this hotel is only 1 km from the Buçaco Forest and is a 2-minute walk from Luso’s thermal spa. It has a restaurant.
Set in Casal Comba, 37 km from University of Aveiro, Burguezia do Leitão offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace.
Combining comfort with value for money, three-star hotels offer a wide assortment of amenities to keep you content. You can expect to find en suite bathrooms, WiFi in public areas and a dining area with breakfast options. Plenty of chain hotels fall within this star rating and offer central locations close to popular landmarks.
Great location next to the train station and city center. The room was perfect for it's price, big bed and bathroom, a tv, a fan to keep you cool and spacious closet.
Bath was perfect, even though it's on a main road you barely hear a thing (room with side window).
The staff was very friendly throughout my stay.
The place was also really quiet during the day and night.
Location is close to the city centre somehow (you have to go uphill then downhill, but everything in Coimbra is this way); bonus is that it is quieter than living in the centre.
Liked that it has AC (very hot outside), nice bathroom, all kitchen utensils some may need, comfortable bed, and it was very clean. The host was friendly, told us a little bit about surroundings.
The room was comfortable and clean. It was also fairly spacious. We appreciated the location, not in the city center, but very accessible, just on the other bank of the river and right next to the bridge.
Surprised that Hotel V is just a two star - the facilities, room, and breakfast were better than many 3 stars we've stayed at and equal even to some 4 stars! The breakfast was delicious, with many choices and fresh items. The room was quiet and spacious. The location is perfect for discovering Coimbra.
A great budget hotel...small but cheap and cheerful..lovely staff, spotlessly clean, great location and the balcony a bonus..great air con/heating system, daily clean and fresh towels.
The location of this hotel in Coimbra is very good, close to the city center. The rooms are comfortable and adequate for a 3 star hotel. The beds are comfortable and we were able to sleep without problems. There is a very nice roof garden where you can drink for a very reasonable price looking at the university.
