Excellent location, fantastic hosts, brilliant facilities, top of the line apartment; the inside and outside pool as well as the jacuzzi are beautiful and well maintained. The apartment is well equipped, not very big but has very comfortable beds and 5-star towels and bathrobes. Location is very good for sightseeing northern Portugal as well as visiting Ponte de Barca itself. In short: if you are looking for a great stay with very hospital hosts in North of Portugal: this is the place to go!

We had a very short stay, however during this time we had experienced some services. First of all, the house was immaculate clean. It really has everything you might need, the kitchen is very well equipped. The attention to details is amazing: even cutlery and other kitchen supplies drawer were strategically placed to look perfect. The restaurant offers a good variety of dishes, the portions are rather big and the price is very reasonable. But the most important - everything we tried was delicious and the service was great! We asked to deliver breakfast to our room which was very convenient and it was also delicious. The spa was quite good, including hammam, sauna and a very relaxing massage. They require to use swimming hats and slippers, however it’s possible to get it at the reception in case you don’t have any. And the most important: the staff were very sweet. They contacted me after my booking was made to ask if we would like to come a bit earlier, because the house was empty. Also they booked massage and restaurant in advance before our arrival. Everybody was helpful, friendly but also very professional. I really would like to come back to this place again, it has a quite unique feeling: you experience high quality yet you sense home.

Situated in Vieira do Minho, 7.2 km from Canicada Lake, Encosta de Louredo by Pousadela Village provides accommodation with a sauna, a hot tub and a hammam. Everything was perfect. House we had is new and very nicely furnished. All equipment is new and clean and bright. View fantastic. Spa super! Staff at the reception and welcome was really nice.

Situated in Ventosa, Alynes 2 Villa individuelle, piscine, spa, sauna panoramique offers a balcony with lake and pool views, as well as a seasonal outdoor pool, sauna and hot tub. Amazing surprise birthday trip! The villa is absolutely gorgeous, just like the pictures and offers everything you need for a wonderful stay. There is a LIDL supermarket 20mins away from the villa. The communication was great before and during the stay. We LOVED staying there and will come back whenever we can.

Whilst it lasted, The property is set up for honey moon couples - much of it is over the top and kitsch but it has a certain charm When the neighbouring property is unoccupied it is simply brilliant … but when, as in our experience, a family with young children arrive everything changes. Having noisy kids jumping into the pool only a metre away destroyed any notion of tranquillity. If the property was not shared it would be simply blissful The access is terrifying … you will wish you had paid for your car hire company insurance excess!
