Set right at the shore of Lake Constance, this maritime-style 4-star hotel in Horn dates from 1827. the location was lovely, right on the lake with great views.

Situated at the foot of the Weissbad Alpstein countryside in Appenzell, Hotel Hof Weissbad features a 24-hour reception services and an extensive spa area. Free Wi-Fi is available. I have stayed here several times. It is very expensive so it makes a lovely treat. Personally I like that it is all „auf Deutsch“. I like to experience a place from that country‘s perspective, plus I can work on my German!
