The Tamara Coorg is a 5-star property about 8 km from Nalkanad Palace and Thadiandamol. I have had the pleasure to stay in this facility for 3 days. I booked it because it was close to my place of interest, because it had good reviews and because the pictures looked pretty. Little did I know how much I underestimated this resort! The combination of tranquility, breathtaking views from your "room", the omnipresent luxury, selection of superb activities, the cuisine, the actual living forest all around you and overall hospitality and service simply cannot be described by words. One must experience it first-hand to fully appreciate this gem of a property. This property is situated literally inside a functioning coffee plantation, where you can explore the coffee making process from blossom to brewing (and roast / grind coffee beans yourself!). That is only one of the few exceptional activities offered, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The plantation is huge, and so is the resort itself. So of course they drive you with a buggy, whenever you are not in a mood for a little walk. Your "room" is actually a cottage, suspended above tree foliage, with a sense of complete privacy, even though a next cottage is nearby. The view has depth which can only be experienced by the seashore, or at high altitude. The connection to nature is taken very seriously here, and can also be felt intensely everywhere - whether you are relaxing on the terrace of your cottage, or walking to the pool and spa, or just having dinner. Talking about dining. The selection and variety of meals is astonishing, and so is the flavor. The whole dining experience is wonderful - the taste, the drinks & cocktails, the fact that you are actually dining above the waterfall, prompt and kind service offered by every staff member (waiters and managers alike). I would especially like to spotlight Mr.Bishu, who was serving us for the duration of our stay. He was always professional, very kind, attentive to all our needs, and so polite. Located 21 Km at the foothills of Madikeri, Kushalnagar. Purple Palms Resort & Spa boasts of an on-site restaurant, an outdoor pool and Spa. The resort has a gym, children’s playroom. The hotel is in a very ideal location. Hospitality, friendliness, cleanliness & Courtesy was the key highlight right from the start. The restaurant served wide variety of food , be it either breakfast or dinner, here kudos to the very well organized Mr Shekar & team. All other facilities, be it the gym, spa, pool & indoor sports area was very good. Highly recommend Purple Palms to those visiting Coorg.

The location and weather was awesome, rained everyday afternoon in April! the pool villa was very comfortable and private, staffs and their service was great, food- breakfast/lunch/dinner was delicious, had enough choices for both veg and non veg, coffee house, evening snacks, bike rides were fun. Ayurveda treatments for neck and massages by Mr. Lipu were relaxing and rejuvenating. Mr. Rahul was knowledgeable, flexible with appointments making it possible to explore various options.

Featuring colonial furnishings, The Old Kent Estates is nestled amidst an expansive 200-acre coffee plantation in Suntikoppa. It was an amazingly calm and beautiful stay with good breakfast. The rooms were quite big, comfortable and clean. The toilet was also huge and clean. Staff and everything about the place was really good.
