It's not often you get to stay in a one-month old hotel, but this one is brand new (late September-early October 2022). It is hidden away on a side street in a small forgettable village, which keeps it quiet at night. It's all new and absolutely spotless, and includes a nice spa and wonderful sauna and two hot tubs on the ground floor, and access across a lawn to a 7-pool swimming and hot spring water resort (which is not new and is shared with an adjacent camp ground). Rates include dinner, and the wine list is quite reasonable and includes some wines made in the same and in the next village. Both dinner and buffet breakfast were good if not quite gourmet. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, all bilingual in Hungarian and German. (Don't know about English because I speak both Hungarian and German, never tried English).

It is a small extra building in the garden with changing rooms, shower, deck chairs, big whirlpool (hot tub) and infrared sauna and towels. We were the only ones using it in the evening and could choose the temperature of the sauna and switch the whirlpool on as we wanted. There is a small swimming pool in the garden just behind the spa, too, and space with deckchairs to relax. The room is equipped with bathrobes, so you can walk in bathrobes to the spa. There is also a small gym in the basement of the hotel, however we did not use it. - The room No. 3 was rather small, yet with sufficient space, the toilet and the shower are two separate cubicles (very convenient if one person wants to use the toilet while the other person is having a shower), it has a fridge and a kettle/ cups and tea bags / soluble coffee. - The hotel seems to care for children, we saw family-bicycles (see picture), and it advertises a little petting zoo (we didn't try to find it) - Breakfast buffet is in the basement and sufficient with juice, a coffee machine with a choice of different coffee styles (american, latte, cappucino, etc.), some cereals, cheese, ham, egg, croissant and so on. Loved it.
