The family-owned 5-star Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern is located right in the Old Town of Lucerne, next to the lake. It offers a spa area and elegant rooms with modern furniture. We loved everything. The location was excellent. The hotel is close to everything. Although it is on the other side of the train station and pier, it’s actually just a 5 to 10-minute walk. The chapel bridge is between the wall from the station and hotel. Behind the hotel, about 10 to 15 minutes of walking, are the Lion Monument and the Glacier Garden. At check in, we knew it was going to be an excellent stay. The concierge, Noah (I hope I spelled his name right), immediately made us feel welcome. He gave us information, tips and suggestions that made life easier for us. The lady who delivered our room service was so very wonderful as well. The customer service is just top notch: professional and yet warm. Everything about our room was just wonderful. It was huge, the bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was clean and huge, and the view was just to die for. Check out was painless and quick, with the same efficient and yet warm customer service. I can’t say enough good things. If we have the chance, we would love to visit Luzern so we could stay in Hotel Schweizerhof again.

The Hotel Vitznauerhof - Lifestyle Hideaway at Lake Lucerne is located at the foothills of Mount Rigi on the shores of Lake Lucerne, in the heart of Central Switzerland. Well, right from the word go at the reception, I knew I found the right place. First and foremost, the great, GREAT Staff who not just guest but accommodated every oddball request - including that for my favorite dessert of Crêpes Suzette :-D !!! The food was superb, the wine awesome and the Aperol Spritz out of this world! My room was phenomenal with a giant bathtub in which I soaked every morning! Overall, an awesome, awesome, otherworldly experience in paradise!

Located 450 metres above Lake Lucerne in the canton of Nidwalden close to Lucerne, this 5-star hotel awaits you with a combination of modern comfort and a traditional Swiss ambience. Everything. The views inside and outside the hotel were breathtaking. The room was big, super clean and have all the amenities we needed. The food was very good and the staff was amazing. It was our 5th wedding anniversary and we had a lot of welcome gifts in the room. The infinity pool is just beyond words.

Wellness Hotel Stoos is located in Stoos, a quiet car free mountain village,1300 metres above sea level, above Brunnen on the Lake of Lucern. The hotel is large and beautiful. All common places are so nice and welcoming. The food is great. The room was large, comfortable bed and we were given wine and treats upon arrival. Most of all, the spa is just amazing. It is huge with 5 saunas I think. Everything is super clean and comfy. They even give soup so you will restore lost electrolytes. The pool is great, and the outside hot tub is on the spot. There are many relaxation areas too. The ridge walk was the most beautiful trail I have ever walked. This is well worth the travel. Overall the value is amazing and the cost is lower than expected in Switzerland. 10/10.
