I have stayed here several times. It is very expensive so it makes a lovely treat. Personally I like that it is all „auf Deutsch“. I like to experience a place from that country‘s perspective, plus I can work on my German!

The rooms are big and the shower/ toilet unit is a part of the main room, but there is a sliding door. Breakfast is simple but fills you up - bread, local cheese, yoghurt, cereals, jams/ honey. On the ground floor, there are lockers, a pool table, a fridge that can be used by the guests, washing and drying machine. Another thing is a dog shower - that is cool, even though I don't have a dog! To check in/out you have to go to the upmarket hotel 3 min away. The staff is friendly and attentive, there is a souvenir shop that offers a variety of local products. Also, there is a restaurant (would visit next time) with the terrace where you can have an evening drink and an amazing desert.

We had the impression the furniture was new. The view to the lake gives a nice touch. The spa is very good and they serve water, tee, fruits and nuts the whole day.
