Breakfast was fantastic. Ordered what you liked and the lattes were great! Had a nice snack pantry area on the second floor. The location was great and I loved walking to the shambles and around the medieval walls. Pro tip - reserve your parking ahead. Wonderful help bringing bags in and up to our room on the third floor - there are steps. Lovely old house and rooms were beautifully decorated. Lovely parlor and bar as well!

The staff, the setting, the breakfast! We had a big room & it was quiet overnight. I also liked the dispensing shower gel & shampoo in the shower.

Staff were really helpful and welcoming. Had a small problem with a leaky shower and were moved to a larger room with free breakfast thrown in too, which was a nice touch and beyond what was necessary. Good location close to the city centre.

We've stayed here several times over the past four or five years and had cause to give very good revues each time. This time we could only stay for one night due to booking later than usual. As before, we loved it. An excellent well-run hotel, spotless rooms, comfy beds, excellent breakfast and, for us, the jewel in the crown is the Spa. Even with one of the steam rooms temporarily out of action, we had a fabulous time in the warm pool, huge hot Jacuzzi, the salt-steam room and the sauna.

Surrounded by beautiful, quiet parkland and gardens, Hazlewood Castle & Spa is a striking ancient building, thoughtfully restored and tastefully renovated to offer a distinct, different experience.

Location was lovely and peaceful and the exterior of the hotel had character.

Byron Bar features oak paneling and an historic fireplace. The Courtyard Restaurant has a fine menu, and oak beams. Each room with attached bathroom at The Bridge has digital TV.

The location on a long private driveway through Yorkshire Daleslike Countryside is beautiful I can see it being an ideal wedding location , but any special birthday or even a Company Reward location for successful Employees.A real treat. The staff are amazing and make you feel on arrival that you are joining a family group, you immediately feel you are a member ! The building is Classic History and the immediateiate gardens a joy to behold
