Very smart hotel. The hotel has been renovated to a high standard but retains original features such as it's wide sweeping staircase. We had a lovely room, beautifully decorated and again, retaining original features. It wasn't a big room but the bed was big and so comfortable. Just enough storage space with the wardrobe and shelves. Excellent quality bedding and towels. The bathroom was lovely and spacious with plenty of storage for toiletries. An added bonus was a kettle and tea/coffee!! There is plenty of secure parking in the hotel grounds. Plenty of shops and eateries nearby.

The location was perfect for an overnight stop-over on our toad trip. Very central to the town, restaurants, etc. within walking distance. On street parking right outside was great We didn't have children with us but there were lots of facilities, toys and games which would be great for a family. Great communication from the host with clear instructors our stay. Very happy. Thank you.

We stayed at the suite on the top floor. It was huge very beautiful view and , and silent. Lovely furnitures. We really enjoy your stay, extremely kind and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast . Next door to a fabulous park with giant sequoias. We will definitely recommend the place
