Excellent location and excellent value. The owners and the staff were very welcoming, kind and caring. They took care of our needs. Rooms were cleaned everyday. The place was very very comfortable and extremely clean. The breakfast buffet was great. The room and balcony had breathtaking views of the snow capped mountains. We loved every aspect of the 14 Gables. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful place.

Location is great. Being from the US, it's nice to find a location that's up on a hill, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the street with peaceful, serene views! With the perk of still being in close walking distance to cafés and shopping. Nice to be tucked away a bit in nature! The view from the top floor is spectacular 👌🏼 has a great view of the snow-capped mountain peaks in the distance. Staff was great and accommodating. Would stay again.

Situated in Chaura Maidan, Shimla - 7000 feet up in the Himalayas, The Oberoi Cecil offers luxury accommodation along with an indoor heated swimming pool, spa and 3 dining options. Welcome and care of all staff members. Room was charming, comfortable and had a beautiful view. Breakfast and dinner were superb. Good location for many of the sights and for exiting Shimla avoiding much of the central Shimla traffic.
