The overall look of the appartment (super modern, kitchen was equipped with everything), the position near all the lakes, and it was a bit secluded near the river, which made it nice and quiet to chill and relax. Just amazing.

The apartment is amazing, familiar and great design, the small details and artistic character are great! The guest house is in the best location, shop, restaurant, bus stop nearby, you can also swim in the lake not far away. The staff and the owner are very kind, hospitality surrounds the whole place, I recommend it. We will definitely come back, even with the family.

What a dream of a place to relax and vacation. Mother Nature provided rain for many days but we were comfortable, well taken are of and enjoyed the clean indoor pool and sauna. Gorgeous grounds, fantastic breakfast and afternoon "Kaffee und Kuchen" with delights backed by Margareta (the owner) herself. This is a family operated hotel and restaurant and we were truly spoiled. They all went above and beyond helping us (when our rental car would not start), catered to our needs for our 93 year old mother and were always kind, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on the property called the Mostschenke im Heustadl and provides a five star Austrian experience in dining. The family has been on this property since the 1600's and have up-dated and built the hotel in the last ten - twelve years. The Mostschenke is the renovated cattle barn and it a delightful venue for dining. The Hotel is clean, bright and the two bedroom chalet suite is a dream for a family vacation. You will love staying with the Familie Steinkogler!! We thank them for a wonderful experience. Heidi, Lisa and Ria

El Das Traunsee - Das Hotel zum See se encuentra a orillas del lago Traunsee, en el centro de Traunkirchen, en Salzkammergut, a 10 km de Gmunden, y ofrece acceso directo al lago. Beautiful hotel at a great location. Very nice interior everywhere. The breakfast was really nice, and the dining area outstanding. My room was clean and cosy with a lovely view from the balcony. I would have preferred a little cooler indoor temperature though.
