Absolutely everything. Hotel itself is beautifully furnished. All staff were so helpful and attentive especially assisting manager Anthony who always made time for guests and helped in any way he could to make sure everything was as it should be. We will definitely be returning to hotel Sosei.

Such a cool place. The owners are fly fishermen and aesthetic of the place it decorated with fishing related decor here and there. All the facilities are very new and clean, the hosts are very friendly and helpful even dropping us (myself and another guest) to the station (like a ten minute drive) ! Owner is Japanese but studied in the US as I understand so English is very much not a problem here. All staff speak Japanese too so issue for Japanese speakers either!
This is a hostel, not a hotel, but as long as you allow that, it is one of the very best of hostel. I have stayed at many hostels across Japan, and even within Japanese standard (as you rarely miss here) it is very much one of the best, clean, great staff, all facilities are new and clean, all amenities available, toothbrush, towel, shampoo etc

There were no restaurant facilities. It gives the impression dining facilities are on offer. You mentioned how was breakfast, As far as I am aware no facilities were provided. When I stay in a hotel and like to have somewhere comfy to come back to in the evening and have dinner and maybe bar facilities - none of this. While I enjoyed the room the rest was disappointing.
When you walk in reception door the carpet is torn which was not very comforting. We arrived about 9.30am and were not allowed to get into our room till 4pm. Now that is a long day in the snow and not knowing where to go. We had to change into our warmer show gear at RECEPTION, so that was not a good start.
