Lio beach is one of the better beaches in El Nido and not in the main section where’s it’s a bit more touristy however I’d say it’s in the nicest area and still close to the airport, lovely restaurants/cafe. The rooms were also spacious and kitted out with the best interiors AND includes a Dyson hairdryer. Very lux and great service. The staff were lovely and so respectful and positive.

I stayed there for 6 nights just to relax and it was really great. The rooms (had two different ones because I extended) and also the outside area is comfy, welcoming and clean. The staff is amazing and so friendly. During my stay they got a new WiFi which was the best I experienced in the whole Philippines. Perfect for working on the computer.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lumbung Villa - the view was just amazing! The staff are great, there's a WhatsApp number to request the free shuttle to/from town, order room service, and send any other questions - always a super quick and friendly response. Lots of filtered water provided in the room/fridge (enough for our 3 day stay). You will potentially have a few wildlife encounters - pretty sure a gecko snuck into our villa for a night or two judging by how close the noise was - but that's part of the charm! We slept well here, good blinds/curtains. Breakfast was good, large portions. We also took advantage of the happy hour every day I think, and the cocktails we tried were nice.
