Base in Onnason, Okinanawa, a property with a garden, is situated in Onna, less than 1 km from Kibougaoka Beach, a 13-minute walk from Inbu Beach, as well as 1.5 km from Nakama Beach. The house was fantastic and very clean and had all the amenities you would need - washing machine, detergent, drying rack, hangers, extra towels. We didn't use the kitchen, but I could see all the usual appliances and utensils. We choose the area Onna as a mid-way base to access locations on the top of the island e.g. aquarium, Bise, Kouri Island, Nago so we didn't have a long drive from Naha at the bottom. It was so nice to come back to the house at the end of the day to relax.

Located in Nago and only 100 metres from Umusa Beach, YANBARU STAY ちゅら宿 provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. I loved the big balcony, the toilet 🤩, the shower, the beds where very comfortable, the room is big and very clean, it also has a washing machine. The location is right across the street from the beach, you can swim here but a really nice beach is just a few hundred meters down the road where the beach is protected in a small golf and there is a big park around with trees and benches, so perfect for a nice day out. Just the next building is a nice traditional restaurant. This is a perfect place to relax and listen to the waves at night but there is not a lot going on around, which was perfect for us after 2 weeks of big city life in Japan. The people taking care of the place are extremely nice, the lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful in a non intrusive way. So this was the perfect end for our Japan adventure.
