It's a very cosy and luxurious townhouse. Loved the location. In less than 7 minutes walk you are at the shops. In 15 minutes you are at the brewery quarter. Host is amazing. Started with the staff, we got a call the afternoon of our stay as we were arriving several hours after the estimate to in quire about our dinner plans. we would be arriving after the kitchen closed, so the owner offered to have a couple of salads made for us. The hotel has the classic British pub-hotel charm, but the room had a nice modern feel to it with a wonderful bathroom. air conditioning would’ve been nice, but the fan did the job. Great staff, selection of beverages and breakfast was fabulous.

The cottage is everything you think an E nglish cottage should be. So much better than staying in a hotel !

The gardens and surrounds were beautifully maintained and very welcoming. There was a little box of chocolates, a loaf of bread and milk in the fridge as a welcome pack, which was lovely.
