Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. We had a fantastic time at Konsano. The private Onsen and dinner in our room were some of the highlights of our trip and they were very accommodating to our dietary requirements. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, special mention to our room clerk Etsuko who made us tea on arrival and served our meal. We were lucky enough to see Mt Fuji on our first day, and the rooftop footbath was much needed after all our exploring!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. nice room good onsen, dinner is AMAZING, Michelin standard. highly recommend

Located in Oshino and only 10 km from Fuji-Q Highland, 八海 木花館 provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Dinner and breakfast are exceptional. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Very private and secluded area which is perfect.

Location was central to the main attraction of Kawaguchiko lake where you could go for a (long) walk there, bike there, or even bus there. The owner even offered e-bike rentals early morning that let me catch the sunrise, and it was one of the best travel moments I've had. He was so helpful with sightseeing advice and we were able to communicate using translation apps. Traditional Japanese house, spacious rooms, lots of quiet, and centrally located to convenience stores, a large supermarket with cheap bento boxes, and less touristed restaurants. Luggage storage is available before and after check in.

Private Hotel Rei er með fjallaútsýni og býður upp á gistirými með verönd, í um 7,1 km fjarlægð frá Kawaguchi-vatni. The dinner we paid for additionally was awesome (a 6-course dinner). The breakfast was also very good. Everything was cooked by the host himself - Yoshi. He appeared to be a very nice guy. He was very kind to us. He explained to us many interesting things and gave us a ride in his car on the day we left. He showed us some pretty good spots to take a picture with the Sakura trees and Mount Fuji. The whole stay there was one not to forget. Absolutely recommend staying there!

We came for the view which, from our room, exceeded expectations. We will come back because of the awesome staff who went out of their way to make us feel at home. We stayed one night on our way from Tokyo to Kyoto by train. We ordered dinner the night of arrival and breakfast the next day. Both were delicious, traditional Japanese meals served with a spectacular view of Mt Fuji. Our waitress inquired where we were headed and recommended we consider an express bus to Mishima where we could get a bullet train to Kyoto. We agreed and before we knew it she had already made reservations for us! This saved us at least an hour and the misery of several train stops. Not fully evident from the property description is the supreme location of the hotel. As the name suggests, it’s near the lake, but also within walking distance of convenience stores, restaurants and several shops. The hotel also offers shuttle service to and from the train station. If you are planning a stay in Kawaguchiko (which you should) and want to be pampered with the full Japanese experience, let Lakeside Hotel pamper you as they did our family.

Teiensaryo Yamanakako er staðsett í aðeins 2 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Fujikyu Asahioka-rútustöðinni í Yamanakako og státar af fallegum japönskum garði. Ókeypis WiFi er í boði á almenningssvæðum. The inn was magical. The traditional room with tatami mats overlooking the garden and koi pond was wonderful. The yukata robes and traditional bath was superb. Our host, Yoichi, was very accommodating. He even drove us to and from local restaurants twice and took us on a nice tour of the lake nearby. We couldn't have asked for more. We're looking forward to coming back the next time we travel to Japan.

Ichifujiso er staðsett í aðeins 1 mínútu göngufjarlægð frá hinu fallega Kawaguchi-stöðuvatni og býður upp á notaleg gistirými með herbergjum í japönskum stíl og almenningsböðum. Everything was amazing in this place. Very traditional Japanese house and all the amenities are great! You have to try the ofuro… magnificent!!! The hosts are an old and very sweet couple! They’re super kind and amazing people. Please don’t hesitate to come here is absolutely worth it!!!

Spotlessly clean big room with perfect view on Kawaguchiko lake. Nice and very hepfull staff. Delicius food with few options for vegans which is rare in ryokans.
