Nice pond with koi fish and the atmosphere was so peaceful. Excellent dinner and breakfast (as a vegetarian, I could not ask for more)

This temple really feels magical. The monks were very welcoming and professional. I liked how the temple is not commercial at all, and feels like a very local experience. The rooms are big and comfortable. As a solo female traveller I overall felt safe. The meals (dinner and breakfast) are typical Japanese vegetarian courses, served in very beautiful rooms. The service in the early morning was very interesting and insightful. I appreciated that there were both Japanese visitors and foreign visitors and the monks gave us an explanation in English.

Set in Shirahama, within 200 metres of Shirahama Beach and 1.2 km of Ezura Beach, Shirahama no Yado Daigo offers free WiFi throughout the property. It’s a big size room, there is a balcony too, and i could see the ocean. The owner is very very nice and helpful. She cooked breakfast for me everyday morning and the food is sooo delicious and fresh!

The temple is historical but the room is quite new. All facilities are in good shape. The location is also good for travel. You can get off from bus 4 at the 3rd station. 2mins walk from the station.

다나베 내 Kawayu Onsen 구역의 편리한 장소에 자리한 Minshuku Sumiya에서 머물러보세요. 숙소는 Hosshinmon Oji Shrine에서 12km, Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art에서 20km, Kumanoshi Kiwakozan Museum에서 23km 거리에 있습니다. The guesthouse owner is a quite enthusiastic and kind person. When I arrived at the house with tired hiking body, he returned the money which I paid more in booking.com forwardly at the situation that I didn't know I paid more.

Very cool experience, we had the best room so all cool (considering you are in a monastery). The morning prayer is super interesting as well as the position is very good. Staff is very nice and both dinner and breakfast were great.

This place was amazing! We really enjoyed our stay and dreamed about staying forever… We will recover this to everyone!
