The hotel is stunning, and the room we had was amazing .. we stayed in the Japanese West wing. The room contained four different pairs of footwear and so many gadgets, sadly more than we could take advantage of. We dressed in traditional garments for meals and enjoyed the hot spring bath. We could not fault the room, the staff or the quality of the exceptional food experience. Everyone was wonderful.

YUPOPPO Hakone ligger i Hakone, 43 km fra Fuji-Q Highland, og har have, fælles opholdsstue og bjergudsigt. Staying at this place was one of the highlights of our trip. Ever since we arrived, the host made sure that we were comfortable and relaxed. We were welcomed with a homemade chocolate cake, the foods served were delicious (dinner and breakfast-the homemade bread and marmalade was my personal favorite) and the host was really helpful and nice. The onsen was private as well and you can book your preferred time in advanced. The place was also spacious and had a very private touch to it. Going there, you just need to ride one bus from Odawara Station. The hosts went the extra mile to assist us in our needs and even drove us to the bus station because it was raining. Overall, I would really recommend this place if you are visiting Hakone. We would definitely book again when we come back..

The ryokan style room and private open air bath is exceptional, and the staff hospitality were awesome it's exceed my expectation. Since i'm prefer green tea more than roasted green tea in the morning, they provide me with the green tea in the breakfast menu for my breakfast set, didn't expecting that. Overall, very satisfied with this ryokan, will back for sure.
