It was just a short walk to the famous Kazurabashi vine bridge and the beautiful gorge at Nishi Iya Valley. There were also fireflies near the river on the night during my visit. I love the view. In front of the courtyard is a magnificent view of the green hills opposite the gorge. They set up beach chairs in the courtyard for guests to laze in the afternoon sun and enjoy the scenery. I love the staff. They were friendly and helpful, and even though they do not speak much English, they tried their best to understand and attend to my every needs. I love my room. It was next to a quiet lobby with nice big sofas, and it became an extension to my room. My room also came with its own automated onsen bath tub, so I didn't have to take the long walk to their onsen. I love the food. My package came with half-board, including a multi-course local dinner in a private dining room. Their konjac sashimi tasted really really good with the miso sauce. Breakfast was equally sumptuous. Overall, I felt like I was staying in a big country house filled with many friendly happy people. Thank you Kazuraya for this amazing stay!

Located in Kasuga, 26 km from Takamatsu, Asan Kotonami features a terrace and views of the mountain. The ryokan has a hot spring bath and sauna, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Great rooms in a peaceful setting. Dinner and breakfast superb. Staff lovely. Wine was a very reasonable cost

Featuring beautiful nature views from its rooftop hot spring bath, Hotel Kazurabashi offers Japanese-style rooms and a dining room where food is prepared in the hearth at the guest's table. Very kind host, Yummy foods, and the restaurant was clean. We're happy the host shared with us a song and enjoyed the meal that they served. Happy to meet a guy from Hong Kong and he told us about the traditional foods of the area.

A 15-minute walk from JR Kotohira Station, Kotohira Kadan offers natural hot spring baths and spacious Japanese-style rooms, some with a private outdoor hot spring bath. Beautiful setting, food is excellent and staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. We were delayed due to an accident on the train line. The staff picked us up from the station and delayed our dinner booking until we arrived over an hour late..

Objekat 内子の宿 こころ, koji je smešten u gradu Uchiko, na nekoliko koraka od znamenitosti Uchiko Town Museum i 3 min. It was like staying in a film set but all authentic. The residence was built in a traditional way and well maintained. Very helpful staff and appreciated the pick up service from the station. Very attractive small provincial town with good selection of restaurants all within easy walking distance.
