Absolutely 1st rate staff made everything about my stay enjoyable and relaxing. It was obvious they prepared well, learned who we were and what we liked. I felt valued, pampered, and relaxed. There is no better location in Nagasaki. What a view!

This is an outstanding unique property if you like hot thermal spas. While I am not a fan of public bathing I found some hours when no one was there and I snuck in. What a luxury!!!! For next year I am getting suite with the private hot thermal spa so I don’t have to worry about the privacy. That having been said this place is six stars the service the food the Japanese ambiance and the entire experience is complete. I am an international traveler and I go to high end places only. This place was an amazing surprise in the middle of Unzen. I highly highly recommend it

The Japanese-style bedroom was very nice and very spacious. Easily accessible laundry. Common area had many things, like a microwave, electirc kettle, teacups, etc.

Breakfast is served daily at the hotel. a nice hotel in an incredible location. the staff could not have been more wonderful. the view from our room, from the public bath, and from the restaurant were absolutely fabulous.

Bijozuka is 19 km from the ryokan and Ozakiyama Park is 24 km away. The location was perfect with many shops in walking distance. The proprietor was very kind. The 3 breakfasts we got were different each day, authentic, and delicious. Room was cleaned everyday while we were out.
