Room is good, huge and clean. dinner is fabulous special for the small hot pot soup and sukayaki breakfast is standard buffet nothing special. remember go to level 8, a very nice view for mount fuji.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, even gave us a lift into town to rent bikes! The dinner and breakfast were excellent and delicious. The room was perfect and had a beautiful view. The onsen was relaxing after a day exploring. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend!

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. Beautiful hotel, with private and quiet rooms that were spacious and well kept. Close to the red bus stop 4, Ohashi Bridge and restaurants/supermarket. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. They organised a taxi for us to get out to Chuerita Pagoda at the crack of dawn. The private onsen and breakfast were the highlights of our stay.

Hidden treasure restaurant that stole our harts.

Located just a minute's walk from Kawaguchiko Lake, Kawaguchiko Lakeside Hotel offers accommodation in Fujikawaguchiko, near Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge. Very good location，very helpful staff. We stored our luggage at hotel after we checked out. When we finished our tour back to the hotel, the hotel provided us a ride to the station. We were surprised for such good service. Strongly recommend.

Boasting a beautiful Japanese garden, Teiensaryo Yamanakako is located just a 2-minute walk from Fujikyu Asahioka Bus Terminal in Yamanakako. Free WiFi access is available in the public area. The property is beautiful, with a real homely feel. You feel as if you’re visiting friends! The rooms are traditional, comfortable and clean with lovely yukatas and jackets to use around the facility. The food is wonderful! Such huge attention to detail. As westerners, we had to go into the meals with an open mind but everything was delicious and the lovely host helped us with some videos on how to eat certain things. The staff are incredible, they’re so kind. We had some problems with our bags being left behind in the UK and the lovely host couldn’t have been more helpful with the problem. He so suggested plenty of things to do in the area that we hadn’t heard of. So great!!

Situated just a 1-minute walk from picturesque Lake Kawaguchi, Ichifujiso is cosy accommodation with Japanese-style rooms and public baths. Meals feature fresh home-grown vegetables. we enjoyed our stay at kawaguchiko, the place is very worth the price and location! The place is run by an old couple, they are patient and welcoming to us and our requests. The hostel is located right beside lake kawaguchiko and a reasonable walk to kawaguchiko station. The interior is very traditional with tatami flooring and futons to sleep on, giving guests a local and organic experience. Overall, we recommend this place!

Overlooking picturesque Kawaguchi Lake in the serene Mount Fuji area, Rakuyu boasts comfortable guest rooms and natural hot spring baths. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the public area. The staff, the amenities and the view were unbelievable. I never had a room with such a spectacular view. It was very hard to leave.Also important to note, the hotel was very generous with the avaialable snacks and light meals.

A 10-minute drive from Lake Yamanaka and a 20-minute drive from Fujikyu Highland amusement park, the completely non-smoking Ryokan Fujitomita offers traditional rooms with free Wi-Fi throughout. The hosts were lovely and helpful. I just climbed Fuji so my whole body was sore but I had the most comfortable sleep on my very first futon ever! Despite being fully-booked, it was very serene, I even got the whole onsen for myself; there are two types: Jacuzzi and bath-type onsen. As everyone has mentioned, the room has clear view to Mt Fuji, but in the bedroom itself there are lounge area where you can make your own ocha. They even have a binder of pamphlet/magazine/posters collection full of information on local touristy, cultural, activities, and culinary hotspots. The Japanese breakfast was also very delicious, and the host drives me to the station after check-out. Definitely recommending this place to everyone!
