We especially loved the home cooked meals which were so delicious and beautifully presented. The rooms were comfortable and cosy warm. The hosts were so lovely and helpful. We highly recommend staying here and would love to return.

Located in the centre of Kurokawa Onsen, Oyado Noshiyu offers outdoor and indoor hot-spring baths, Japanese-style accommodations and a traditional teahouse. We stayed in Shion room which was really special with a stove in the living room, a foot bath room and indoor bath. The outdoor public bath was really good too, and not crowded at all in the morning. The service provided by all the staff was very welcoming, making us feel relax and comfortable. Really enjoy the stay.

The dinners and breakfasts were sumptuous and almost too much food, all very delicious. The staff is friendly, impeccable, and very helpful. The area itself is also lovely, with plenty of shops and nearby onsens to explore.

This was one of the highlights of our 37 day trip to Japan. Wonderful people run this ryokan. We liked the fact it was in a smaller village out of the main Onsen area of Kurokawa.
