Now to the most important aspect, the staff of Seiryuso.The hotel manager, Kajiki san set the benchmark for top notch hospitality. He has a bubbling personality, always giving out good vibes and positive energy. Always ready to serve and provide service. Always service with a smile.😊😊😊. Well, Japanese are known to provide great service but this is a whole other level. A special shout-out to the restaurant crew, specifically the service staff, didn't manage to get all their names other than matsuyi san. Kudos to the other gentlemen that provided the service.

It’s a family owned guest house with mother, father and two kids born 2020 and 2023. The father speaks English and that is friendly and eager to help. The common area is the same as the family’s private space. As a family you have access to a big bath tub big enough for four people. The house is made out of mainly wood, which is spacious and cozy. They created small areas for kids to play. Example a small ropeway. The father likes spear fishing. Relaxed atmosphere and helpful family made the trip to Amami really pleasant. Recommended.

Kinkouro Koran no Yu is a 15-minute drive from Mount Uomidake and a 30-minute drive from Lake Ikeda. Chirin-shima Island is 800 metres from Uomi Port, which is a 10-minute drive away from the ryokan. A free shuttle is available in the evening to Saraku Sand Bath, which is a 15-minute drive away. Everything, the room is spacious and the private onsen is great. Staffs are all very friendly and professional. Everything is great and thank you.
