Staff and service were also excellent and made our stay super special!

Situated 1.6 km from Takayama Station, Iroriyado Hidaya is a recently renovated 4-star accommodation in Takayama, boasting a garden, a shared lounge and private parking. Incredible kindlessness from the ryokan staff! They have helped us with everything during our stay. The Ryokan is very beautiful, and has a spectacular 'tatto-friendly' onsen! Amazing breakfast!! 100% recommendable!

The dinner and personalized service was exceptional As there was only 1 other person staying we were able to have our first onsen experience together which was fantastic

It was a wonderful place, the rooms were SO nice. I have never slept this comfortable, the futons were amazing. The house itself had the old Japanese feel to it.

Situated in a tranquil area in Gifu Region, a 52-minute drive away from JR Takayama Station, Mozumo boasts a hot-spring bath and rooms decorated with modern Japanese interior. Amazing. Just amazing. The in room onsen was really good. The food was really good. The staff was polite and accommodating. The location was a short walk from the bus terminal. Just amazing.

Nice experience in a high-end traditional Japanese hotel. We were the only western tourists. Very nice onsen with amazing "muddy bath". Delicious meals, very good buffet breakfast.

Offering traditional Japanese-style accommodation with spacious public baths, Yatsusankan Over 6 years old is a 6-minute walk from JR Hidafurukawa Train Station. Everything was incredible. The room with the Mountain View was beautiful. I spent so much time in the open air bath and it was so relaxing. The Kaiseki meals were some of the best and most authentic meals I ever had. The staff is so lovely too. Every detail was perfect, down to them waving goodbye to us as we left. Highly recommend!!!
