The hotel is a traditional Japanese style setting, with nice Japanese garden, onsen and meals. The entire experience was truly sensational, including the staff were friendly, capable of English speaking and attentive. My room size was sufficient for 3 people and the room layout was very user friendly. Overall, I rate it as a 5-star hotel experience.

Dainichiya-ryokan está en Sasaguri, a 10 min a pie de Shuzen-ji Temple y a 1 km de Sanno-ji Temple. El alojamiento está cerca de Akashi-ji Temple, de Yamate Kannondo Temple y de Sanno Yakushido... First time staying at a ryokan and we were not disappointed! Very beautiful environment with the shrine next to it and the staff was very helpful. Also close to the train station. Absolutely 10/10 experience

Craft inn Te in Yame is a true gem like we like to discover when travelling. This place mix the charm of the historical Machiya with contemporary touches by local craftsmen. It’s more than just a place to stay, it’s an invitation to explore Japanese craftsmanship! Craft Inn Te staff organised workshop visits for us, we planned our trip in advance with them and it was a real pleasure for our kids and us to discover unique skills and fascinating people. Our interpreted Shiho was very helpful and we were happy to spend the day with her. We had booked one night there but we stayed added one more night as this place is really lively with a unique atmosphere.

Kominka neri（古民家煉り）, que está a 12 km de Azenomachi Ehon Museum y a 13 km de Ino Tensho Kotai Jingu Shrine, ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y baño privado en Miyawaka. We love the vibe, the food and the service.

Suisui Garden Ryokan (in the Art Hotel Kokura New Tagawa) se encuentra en Kitakyushu, a 12 min a pie de Kitakyushu Literature Museum, y ofrece vistas al jardín. Although it is located in the city center, it was nice to find peace of mind as it was surrounded by a garden.

Hatago se encuentra en Yanagawa. Hay conexión Wi-Fi gratuita. Todas las habitaciones del ryokan cuentan con escritorio y baño privado con ducha. Rooms and House were meticulously clean and sparkling. Hostess was gracious.

El Ryokan Kibun ofrece alojamiento en Tsuiki, a 26 km de Kitakyushu. La estación de Tsuiki (línea Honsen) se encuentra a 5 minutos a pie del establecimiento. Really nice location with food and station close by. Nice rooms and bath. Staff really nice even though we spoke little Japanese.

El Nansuikaku alberga varios baños termales cubiertos y al aire libre, salones de masajes y habitaciones amplias con muebles elegantes y un ambiente relajante. The onsen experience was superb. It was not too crowded. There was an outdoor public bath with a surreal vibe. Remember to bring some money there to enjoy the milk after the onsen. The staff was really nice. I lost my JR pass there, and they helped me ship the pass to my next hotel. Very appreciated their effort on finding it.

あけぼの館 se encuentra en Iizuka, a 6 min a pie de Iizuka City Historical Museum, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. The Japanese landlady was very kind and patient. Travelled with my family and two of my kids got the stomach bug and she was constantly asking how they were doing. She even prepared the bath so they can relax, they felt much better after that. She even made me use her washing machine when I asked her where the nearest laundrymat was. The traditional family room was large and very comfortable. There were rainy days and we just stayed in and it was so nice and comfortable. Location was convenient as very close to the train, a great ramen restaurant, convenient stores and Izakayas. :)
